Join Our Team as a Paint Spraying Specialist

Siemens Gamesa, a leading player in the wind industry and manufacturer of wind turbines, is seeking a skilled Paint Spraying Specialist to join our Surface Coating Department in Hull. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for applying a layer of primer and paint to wind turbine blades using spray equipment, ensuring they meet our high standards for quality and surface finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out blade painting using specialist machinery
  • Carry out sanding of blade exactly as specified during training and on-the-job coaching
  • Adhere to all health and safety requirements for yourself and those around you
  • Plan and lay out work, following strict engineering specifications and quality standards
  • Check and monitor work constantly, ensuring very high levels of attention to detail

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a vehicle or large structure body shop/painting position is advantageous
  • Sanding and grinding experience is beneficial, but not essential
  • Ability to demonstrate resilience and endurance
  • Commitment to health and safety
  • Exceptional levels of attention to detail and ability to follow all processes exactly
