Capital Projects Engineer

Role Overview
- Oversee small-scale capital projects from initial concept through to approval, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning, ensuring that all designs prioritize safety, efficiency, maintainability, and control.
- Ensure compliance of assigned projects with all relevant internal and external standards and requirements.
- Provide expenditure forecasts for assigned projects to the Project Team Manager or designated representative.
- Conduct chemical and process engineering design for designated projects.
- Actively participate in safety initiatives and fulfill assigned site safety responsibilities.
- Support occasional investigations into incidents or accidents.
- Maintain up-to-date process safety plant information.
Qualifications & Experience Required
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in chemical engineering along with relevant industrial experience.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Strong project management capabilities.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
- Expertise in chemical and process engineering design.
- A high level of initiative, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and work independently.
