Job Summary

Searchability NS&D is seeking a skilled Technical Author to join our team in creating and maintaining high-quality illustrated parts catalogues for aircraft maintenance. As a Technical Author, you will be responsible for authoring, updating, and verifying the accuracy of technical documentation to ensure the safe and efficient accomplishment of aircraft maintenance tasks.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse repair and production drawings to identify any impact on customer needs
  • Provide network/subcontract management to deliver tasks to Time, Cost, and Quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical documentation meets industry standards
  • Develop and maintain illustrated parts catalogues, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Verify and validate sub-contractor activities to ensure compliance with industry regulations


Requirements

  • Previous experience working with aircrafts is ideal
  • Experience with illustrated parts catalogues and technical documentation
  • Sound English language skills and ability to communicate complex technical information effectively
  • Experience with Tech Request tool is desirable
  • Ability to obtain a BPSS clearance
