About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Lived Experience Recovery Champion. As a champion, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who have experienced the challenges of drugs and alcohol.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a champion for our clients, sharing your personal experiences and knowledge to provide a safe and supportive environment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs and designing personalized support plans.
  • Work collaboratively with our Recovery Worker team to ensure clients receive comprehensive support.
  • Contribute to the development of our support services, incorporating client feedback and ideas.
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

About You

We are looking for an individual with personal lived experience of drugs or alcohol, who has completed treatment at least 12 months ago. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients. A strong understanding of recovery models and a passion for supporting others are essential.
