About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our growing teams throughout the Teesside area.

As an Assistant Store Manager at Aldi UK, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Management: Oversee all aspects of employee management, development, and performance, ensuring a high-performing team that delivers excellent customer service.
  • Operational Excellence: Demonstrate a strong operational mindset, making informed business decisions to drive sales growth and minimize costs.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining consistent high standards and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Leadership: Exhibit strong leadership skills, motivating employees to achieve their full potential and driving a culture of excellence.
  • Cost Control: Minimize costs and optimize productivity, ensuring efficient store operations and maximizing sales.
  • Communication: Regularly communicate with the Area Manager to ensure best practice in sales development, stock control, and financial management of the store.
Benefits
  • Competitive Salary: £35,625 rising to £43,440 after 4 years.
  • Flexible Working Hours: 40 or 45-hour contracts available, including weekends.
  • Annual Leave: 4 weeks plus bank holidays, rising to 5 weeks after 2 years.
