As a Principal Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in guiding the scope and direction of our engineering projects, working closely with external stakeholders and internal teams to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver technical consultant expertise on a variety of customer projects, from air to sub-surface.
- Manage a team of engineers across multiple programs, providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Develop proposals and statements of work, engaging with customer representatives to identify opportunities and drive delivery.
- Attend Synoptix internal management strategy meetings, contributing to the development of our engineering capabilities.
- Guide junior engineers in project delivery, sharing knowledge and experience to ensure successful outcomes.
- Requirements analysis and management expertise.
- Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) skills.
- Verification and Validation experience.
- Systems integration knowledge.
- Synthetic environments and models expertise.
- Knowledge of systems engineering tools, such as DOORS, Dimensions RM, MATLAB, and Enterprise Architect.
