Position Overview

Lead ATE Test Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned ATE Test Engineer to become part of a prominent International Semiconductor Firm, specializing in automotive semiconductor technologies and software solutions for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), automated driving, user experience enhancements, and electrification initiatives.

This role involves collaboration with a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and document testing strategies for new semiconductor devices.
  • Design and troubleshoot testing software and hardware for production and reliability assessments.
  • Analyze and resolve issues with new silicon products.
  • Deliver high-quality and cost-efficient testing solutions for large-scale production.
  • Supervise testing-related operations (hardware and software) in conjunction with both internal teams and external testing facilities.
  • Execute testing programs, making necessary modifications and deploying them into offsite production environments.

Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
  • Proficient communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Expertise in semiconductor testing methodologies.
  • Experience with digital, mixed-signal, and PMIC devices, along with practical VLSI ATE experience. Familiarity with system-level and RF/SOC is advantageous.
  • Strong programming capabilities in developing and troubleshooting testing programs and hardware-related challenges. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Perl/Python) and high-level programming languages (e.g., C/C++ or JAVA) is essential.
  • Preferred experience with V93000 SOC Tester – Smartest 7 or Smartest 8.
  • Demonstrated experience with testing equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and VNAs.
