Job Title: Therapeutic Care Worker

Join our team at Childhood First as a Therapeutic Care Worker at Earthsea House in Norfolk. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to work with children aged 5-10 in a residential setting.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Therapeutic Care Worker to join our team at Earthsea House. As a Therapeutic Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing a safe and supportive environment for children, promoting their emotional and psychological well-being, and working collaboratively with our team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized care and support to children aged 5-10 in a residential setting
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Work collaboratively with external stakeholders to meet the needs of the children
  • Contribute to the development of a safe and supportive environment for children
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with experience of working with children therapeutically or in a residential setting. However, we are also happy to support and train suitable candidates without experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and well-being of children.
