Quality Assurance Analyst

Position Overview
As a Software Quality Specialist at SSINGECO LTD, you will be instrumental in guaranteeing the excellence and performance of our software solutions. Your collaboration with developers, product managers, and other key stakeholders will be vital in pinpointing, documenting, and communicating software defects and challenges. Your keen analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail will enable us to deliver impeccable software that aligns with our clients' expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the formulation and evaluation of test plans and test cases derived from project specifications and requirements.
- Conduct manual and automated testing utilizing tools such as Selenium to confirm that the software adheres to defined requirements and operates as intended. Proficiency in Python is essential.
- Identify and log defects or issues encountered during testing through a bug tracking system.
- Provide comprehensive and precise descriptions of defects, including reproduction steps, expected outcomes, and actual results observed.
- Perform regression testing to verify that software modifications or updates do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
- Maintain accurate and current documentation of test cases, results, and defect reports.
- Collaborate with development team members, including developers, solution architects, and business analysts, to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Engage in quality assurance initiatives such as code reviews, inspections, and process enhancements to identify areas for improvement.
- Stay informed about industry best practices, testing methodologies, and tools to enhance testing expertise and knowledge.
- Pursue opportunities for training, certification, and professional growth to improve proficiency in software testing methodologies.
- Provide assistance to end-users and stakeholders by addressing inquiries, concerns, and issues related to software quality and functionality.
- Work alongside customer support teams to resolve issues and deliver timely solutions to user inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience as a Software Tester or in a comparable role. Familiarity with diverse testing methodologies, including both manual and automated testing.
- Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) is advantageous.

- Experience in the agriculture sector or with AI technologies is a plus.
