We are seeking a Regulatory Quality Assurance Analyst to become a vital part of our Regulated Sales and Distribution Risk (RSDR) team.
In this role, you will be entrusted with the comprehensive oversight of customer outcome evaluations and operational assurance tasks within the first line of risk management, specifically concerning mortgage and retail clientele. Your involvement will be crucial in monitoring and reporting the effectiveness of distribution initiatives aimed at enhancing customer experiences.
As our digital channels expand, the importance of assurance activities increases, ensuring that the necessary controls are established to mitigate customer outcome risks.
If you possess a robust background in assurance, particularly in customer outcome evaluations or similar functions, and have a solid understanding of the mortgage and savings application processes, this position may align perfectly with your career aspirations.
Additionally, a keen interest in digital conduct risk will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute customer outcome assessments and operational testing for activities within agreed timelines.
- Conduct risk assessments and thematic reviews to evaluate risks and accurately identify necessary remedial actions to support positive customer outcomes.
- Perform thorough root cause analyses to facilitate essential improvements that inform various business policies and process modifications.
- Provide a consistent first line of defense for both regulated and non-regulated products by collaborating with the broader Regulated Sales and Distribution Risk team.
- Maintain personal competence as a Regulatory Quality Assurance Analyst, ensuring compliance with the relevant competence framework while pursuing personal development to enhance expertise in regulated roles.
- Ensure that all actions are effectively monitored until satisfactory resolution is achieved when remediation is necessary.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in financial services and/or quality assurance.
- Subject Matter Expert in evaluating risks in accordance with internal risk frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where adherence to protocols is critical.
- Background in a risk-related role associated with digital channels.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to produce comprehensive reports.
- CeMAP qualification is required.
