About the Role

Positive Employment is seeking a skilled Scheduling Manager to become a vital part of our Project Management Office (PMO). This permanent position is ideal for an individual with extensive experience in scheduling within a large organizational framework.

Your Responsibilities

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and ensuring the effectiveness of the scheduling processes necessary for the successful delivery of projects and programs within the Infrastructure Directorate. Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing Standards: Develop and maintain the standards and processes that enable timely and precise schedule analysis and reporting at both Programme and Portfolio levels.
  • Master Schedule Management: Take ownership of the integrated master schedule and conduct thorough schedule analysis.
  • Integrated Scheduling: Design, implement, and sustain an integrated master schedule for the PMO, encompassing various programs and projects.
  • Monthly Assurance: Oversee the planning and scheduling assurance for Combined Authority projects on a monthly basis.
  • Methodology Leadership: Lead the application of specific planning and scheduling methodologies, techniques, and tools.
  • Team Leadership: Guide the scheduling team in validating and reviewing schedule management inputs according to established procedures.
  • Reporting: Generate regular, clear, and persuasive schedule analysis, reports, and commentary for all stakeholders at project, program, and portfolio levels.
  • Timely Information Production: Ensure the accurate and timely production and distribution of schedule information to meet reporting and governance requirements.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of planning, scheduling, and project control methodologies, demonstrating the ability to lead and innovate within the PMO framework.
