About the Role

We are seeking a Relief Support Worker to join our team in the Individual Budget Service, based in the Bodmin area. This service provides support to customers living in the community who have severe and enduring mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to customers in their own homes, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with customers, their families, and other professionals to develop and implement personalized support plans.
  • Assist customers with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
  • Support customers to access community resources and services, promoting social inclusion and community engagement.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a safe and supportive living environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a support role, preferably in a community care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Knowledge of community resources and services, with the ability to navigate complex systems.
  • Commitment to promoting customer independence, well-being, and social inclusion.
