Job Title: Programme Director

Our client, a leading business in the Financial Services sector, is seeking an experienced Programme Director to lead and manage complex IT programmes and projects. The successful candidate will report to the COO and work with key stakeholders to deliver a change management programme, transforming the corporate IT system, data management, and ways of working.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive plan to deliver the Change Management Programme, overseeing the teams to implement changes.
  • Maintain robust programme governance, managing risks and issues to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Liaise effectively with stakeholders, including the Senior Management Team and Heads of, to capture requirements and inform the training plan for colleagues transitioning to new ways of working.
  • Establish and lead regular programme updates and coordination meetings to ensure all stakeholders are informed of progress and next steps.
  • Provide programme status and progress updates to the Monthly Cyber and Technology Oversight Forum, supporting the Change Governance structure.
  • Collaborate with the Information Security & Technology Team to identify end-user impacts and business implications, developing solutions for successful transition and adoption of new ways of working.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in leading and managing complex IT programmes and projects.
  • Strong project management skills, including project planning, risk management, and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Relevant qualifications in project management or IT (e.g. PMP, Prince2, ITIL).
