About The Role
As a Senior GIS Specialist, you will leverage your development expertise to enhance and implement innovative Geospatial solutions for various stakeholders. Working closely with the broader digital team, you will apply your knowledge of geospatial technologies to develop new tools and applications that align with the authority's Geospatial strategy.
During your tenure, you will engage with Business analysts, key users, and the development team to create advanced data editing solutions that ensure the maintenance and integrity of vital mining data assets. This position offers a unique opportunity for a technically skilled individual to play a significant role in the team's achievements.

About You
If you are passionate about developing geospatial applications aimed at making a positive difference, and if you are a creative problem solver eager to collaborate within a team dedicated to delivering outstanding geospatial solutions, this position is ideal for you.
You should have a strong development background in geospatial technologies, coupled with substantial technical expertise in the ESRI suite of tools and GIS programming methodologies. Experience in a multidisciplinary team utilizing agile practices to efficiently deliver GIS solutions is essential. Strong communication skills are critical, along with the ability to understand customers' geospatial requirements and convey technical concepts to a varied audience.
Being solution-oriented, you should be driven to tackle challenges, adopt best practices, and enhance geospatial processes.
