Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Design Manager to join our team at Trant Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing design resources to ensure the efficient and intelligent production of design deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the interfaces with third-party designs from consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Oversee all design output in collaboration with design consultants.
- Implement formal design reviews throughout the project cycle as defined within Trant procedures.
- Provide weekly/monthly reports against the DORM and Contract Programme.
- Monitor and report design expenditure against the DORM and implement strategies for mitigating overspend.
Requirements:
- MEng/BEng – Civil Engineering or Marine.
- Experience working within design and construction organizations.
- A history of working within the water/wastewater sectors.
- Previous/current experience of working closely with environmental and planning teams would be advantageous.
