Design Manager Job Opportunity

RGB Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Design Manager to join their team in the South West business unit. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the senior project team, responsible for the design function and team on live projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the design of various projects within Civil Engineering
  • Manage designs from tender stage to project completion
  • Develop cost-effective design solutions for the project team
  • Implement value engineering principles to ensure best value
  • Understand site management practices, interface management, risks, costs, and coordination

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in a relevant construction subject
  • Professionally qualified (e.g., C.Eng or MCIOB)
  • Competent user of MS packages (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Well-developed technical construction knowledge
