Project Manager - Commercial/Design

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Flagship Consulting. As a Project Manager - Commercial/Design, you will be responsible for leading multiple design-based projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and cost parameters are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective leadership to ensure timely delivery of multiple design-based projects.
  • Manage risk and issue registers for assigned projects.
  • Lead weekly design progress meetings and document outputs for client updates.
  • Manage contract duties in accordance with framework or account processes.
  • Ensure IMS compliance for assigned projects.
  • Manage key client projects, coordinate technical resource, and develop scope requirements.
  • Develop internal programmes for project delivery and report progress to clients and internally.
  • Develop price quotes for projects and ensure delivery within agreed budget and profit parameters.

Requirements:

  • Water industry or wider utilities experience preferred.
  • APMP/AMP PMQ (Project Management Qualification)/PRINCE 2 or equivalent.
  • Contract management of design schemes lump sum and time and expense.
  • Possibly a background in design management within construction or project management on design projects, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in civil/structural/mechanical/electrical design environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software required.
  • Microsoft project/Gantt chart experience desirable.
  • Project management skills including organisational skills.
  • Effective communication, report writing, and interpersonal skills.
