About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate IT Teacher to join our team at The Grange School. As a Teacher, you will work with neurodiverse children and young people, providing individualized support to help them reach their full potential.

Our curriculum is tailored to each child's unique needs, goals, and aspirations. You will work closely with our integrated therapies team to develop curriculum plans and provide support to our learners.

Responsibilities
  • Lead classroom activities, including planning, teaching, and assessing learning, particularly with your assigned class.
  • Monitor and record progress, both academically and against EHCP outcomes.
  • Work closely with pupils to keep them engaged, motivated, and inspired to reach their full potential.
  • Work one-on-one with pupils or in small group settings to help them achieve their learning goals.
  • Collaborate with Teaching Assistants to direct them in effectively supporting the pupils.
Requirements
  • Patience, compassion, and resilience to work with neurodiverse pupils.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to contribute to a range of resources and share information effectively.
  • A driving license to transport pupils to various learning settings.
  • A genuine interest in a career focused on the education of people with a wide range of needs.
