Positive Behaviour Support at Prior's Court

At Prior's Court, we strive to create a supportive environment where young people can thrive and reach their full potential. Our Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approach focuses on understanding and addressing the underlying needs of each individual, promoting positive relationships and empowering them to make informed choices.

Our PBS team works closely with young people, their families, and our staff to develop tailored strategies that meet their unique needs. We use a range of techniques to support self-regulation, develop skills, and enhance quality of life. By doing so, we aim to reduce challenging behaviours and promote a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding.

Our PBS Plan is a collaborative effort, written and regularly reviewed by our team of PBS Learning Specialists. This comprehensive plan outlines proactive, active, and reactive support strategies, ensuring that each young person receives the care and attention they need to succeed.

At Prior's Court, we are committed to providing a holistic approach to behaviour support, one that prioritises the well-being and dignity of each individual. Our Positive Behaviour Training is designed to equip our staff with the skills and knowledge needed to provide effective support, promoting a positive and inclusive environment for all.
