About the Role

Zoocha is seeking a seasoned UX/CX and strategy practitioner to join our growing cross-functional Experience Team as a Senior UX Consultant. This is a new role within the agency, reporting directly to the Creative Director.

We are embarking on a phase of significant internal positive change at Zoocha, building out new creative, strategic and experience capabilities to complement our industry-leading Drupal design and build offering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Help lead Zoocha's strategic experience design work and UX consultancy offering
  • Play a key role in discovering, defining and designing experiences, ensuring output is grounded in research, data and insights, and delivers ongoing value to clients and their audiences
  • Work closely with our creative and UI design team, feeding into the strategy and design of a wide range of audience-centred digital products, services and experiences
  • Manage and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them reach their full potential
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of emerging technologies and their application to innovative and immersive experiences
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' agency experience in a senior UX design/consultancy role
  • Exceptional UX design craft paired with a strategic, consultative mindset
  • Passionate about all things UX, with a keen desire to share that passion and inspire the team
  • Deep practical experience of planning, conducting, analysing and presenting back of quantitative and qualitative research studies
  • Solid proficiency in analysing and interpreting data, with experience creating UX/CX deliverables such as wireframes, prototypes, journey/experience maps, user flows, personas, information architecture, etc.
  • Ability to turn insights into strategic recommendations and help join the dots for clients through compelling narratives and storytelling
  • Strong experience of designing and working with complex, global design systems, with a deep proficiency in Figma prototyping and testing
  • Good understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines best practices
  • Solid experience of designing native mobile apps (iOS and Android) and with a strong understanding of native mobile app design best practices
  • Good commercial awareness, helping ensure work is delivered on time within budget
