About the Role

Zoocha is seeking a seasoned UX/CX and strategy practitioner to join our growing cross-functional Experience Team as a Lead UX Consultant.

This is a new role within the agency, reporting directly to the Creative Director. As a senior member of our multidisciplinary Experience team, you will help lead Zoocha's strategic experience design work and UX consultancy offering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help discover, define and design experiences, ensuring our output is grounded in research, data and insights, and delivers ongoing value to our clients and their audiences.
  • Work closely with our creative and UI design team, feeding into the strategy and design of a wide range of audience-centred digital products, services and experiences.
  • Play a key role in helping shape the future of experience design at a vibrant, growing agency.
  • Lead and mentor our internal team, inspiring and engaging them to reach their full potential.
  • Work on non-billable management, new business and internal projects, and billable work (including oversight) on client projects.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' agency experience, currently in a senior UX design/ consultancy role and looking for your next step up.
  • Exceptional UX design craft paired with a strategic, consultative mindset.
  • Passionate about all things UX, and keen to share that passion in order to inspire the team.
  • Deep practical experience of planning, conducting, analysing and presenting back of quantitative and qualitative research studies.
  • Solid proficiency of analysing and interpreting data.
  • Strong experience of designing and working with complex, global design systems.
  • Good understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines best practices.
  • Solid experience of designing native mobile apps (iOS and Android).
  • Good commercial awareness, helping ensure work is delivered on time within budget.
  • An exceptional communicator with the ability to explain complex concepts in plain English to people from other disciplines and backgrounds.
