Position Overview

Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust is seeking a committed and proactive Registered Professional to assume the role of Inpatient Ward Leader for our maternity cover.

The successful candidate will oversee inpatient care services, collaborating with therapy, non-clinical, and corporate service leaders to ensure we deliver the highest standards of staff and patient experiences, ultimately supporting optimal clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

The Inpatient Ward Leader will manage the daily operations of nursing services within the hospital, taking full responsibility for the management of nursing personnel and the delivery of exceptional services. This role includes providing professional guidance and support to the multidisciplinary team, bringing both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise to the ward while demonstrating empathy and inclusivity through a collaborative approach.
