We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEN Coordinator to join our team at Hatched Recruitment Group.
About the Role:
- Provide comprehensive casework management and administrative support to ensure the effectiveness of the SEN Service.
- Manage crucial interfaces with support services, including Children's Social Care and Health, while maintaining excellent multi-agency working relationships.
- Operate in a positive, collegiate, and respectful manner to ensure borough-wide service effectiveness across our services and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage statutory SEN functions contained within the Education Act 1996 and the Children and Families Act 2014.
- Provide communication and case management skills to support the delivery of SEN services.
- Develop and maintain excellent multi-agency working relationships with schools, other professionals, and support services.
Requirements:
- Enhanced level of communication and case management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex interpersonal environment.
- Strong understanding of the Children's & Families Act 2014 and the SEN Code of Practice 2015.
