About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Recovery Worker to join our team at Social Interest Group Careers. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting women in our refuge to achieve their goals and overcome challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, person-centered support to residents, using a trauma-informed approach.
- Work collaboratively with residents to identify and achieve their desired outcomes.
- Develop and participate in activities, projects, and events that promote resident engagement and empowerment.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
- Contribute to the management of housing and property within the refuge.
Requirements
- 37.5 hours per week, working a rota that includes shifts between Monday and Friday, 10am-6pm and 4pm.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
