About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our women's only refuge in Hove. The successful candidate will provide a safe and supportive environment for 18 women, utilizing a trauma-informed approach to promote recovery and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to women, addressing their unique needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement personalized recovery plans, working collaboratively with the women and other service providers.
  • Contribute to a safe and respectful environment, promoting a culture of empathy and understanding.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly women experiencing trauma.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with women.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality services.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and principles, with a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
