About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Consultant to join our energy contract sales team in SME sales. This is an exciting opportunity to help grow our business by securing new customers, selling additional services to existing customers and cross-selling to other departments.

Your role will be to oversee the end-to-end sales process for matrix and bespoke electricity and gas contracts. You will be responsible for selling energy contracts to new and existing customers to achieve both personal and team targets.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sell energy contracts to new and existing customers to achieve both personal and team targets.
  2. Contribute to sales reports where required by the Contract Sales Manager.
  3. Be fully responsible for the quality of sales up to the supply going live.
  4. Make suggestions and contribute to the improvement of the sales process to ensure consistency and quality are maintained.
  5. Ensure sufficient support and accurate information is provided to the contract admin team.
  6. Business to business sales experience including telesales.
  7. Intermediate IT skills including Excel and Word.
  8. Good commercial acumen.

A competitive salary of £25,000 to £28,000 depending on experience, plus commission, 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays), and company benefits including pension, group life assurance (3 times salary), and more.
