Your Retreats Ltd, a premier provider of luxury lodges and park accommodations, is on the lookout for a talented and motivated Lodge Installation Technician to enhance our skilled workforce. In this role, you will be tasked with the precise and safe setup of our lodges across various locations, as well as addressing and rectifying any issues that may arise during transportation.

Key Duties:

  • Collaborate with the project supervisor to establish the layout and positioning of lodges on-site.
  • Prepare the lodge site, ensuring proper leveling and placement in accordance with industry standards.
  • Perform quality assessments to confirm that installations meet company specifications.
  • Keep the installation area tidy and organized throughout the process.
  • Follow health and safety regulations and ensure adherence to company protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated multiskilled experience in laying LVT and vinyl flooring, painting and decorating, installing facias and soffits, along with basic plumbing, heating, and joinery knowledge.
  • Solid understanding of site preparation and lodge installation methods.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Capacity to perform effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Proficient in joinery and resolving various snagging issues.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving history.

Training:

  • Comprehensive training will be provided to operatives on lodge siting, leveling, and internal finishing techniques, conducted in-house at our facility.
