Job Title: Head of Recoveries About the Role: We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our recoveries business, responsible for managing a portfolio of default and recovery loan cases. The successful candidate will develop and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and maximize repayment. Key Responsibilities: * Manage a portfolio of default and recovery loan cases, ensuring timely and effective resolution * Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability * Review loan and security documents, credit papers, and valuations to evaluate each case * Devising and implementing strategies to optimize efficiency and maximize repayment * Present case strategies and progress updates to the borrower review forum and risk board * Implement strategies through oral and written communications with borrowers, guarantors, and advisors * Provide regular progress reports to the Head of Legal and Recoveries * Prepare data and management information on default and recovery cases * Assist in compiling information on suspended cases, defaults, and estimated losses * Support the Chief Risk Officer in delivering the business strategy Required Skills: * Experience in loan portfolio management, particularly defaults and recoveries * Knowledge of property lending and loan security * Good understanding of banking and financial services practice * Ability to assess company accounting information * Invoice Finance or Trade Finance experience is desirable * Business and commercial awareness Join Fintellect Recruitment: We are a leading recruitment agency specializing in finance and banking roles.
