About the Role

We are seeking a talented Research Data Scientist to join our team at the University of Exeter. As a key member of our academic community, you will collaborate with researchers across the university to design and apply computational approaches to extract knowledge and insight from data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data analysis and machine learning algorithms to support research projects
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure to ensure data quality and integrity
  • Collaborate with researchers to identify data needs and develop solutions to extract insights from data
  • Provide training and support to researchers on data science and AI tools and techniques
  • Contribute to the development of research proposals and grant applications

About You

We are looking for a talented and versatile professional with expertise in data science and artificial intelligence, combined with up-to-date skills in data analysis. Prior experience of contributing to research projects through collaboration with academic researchers is desirable.
