Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced physiotherapist to lead our medical specialties service at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. As a clinical leader, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective care to a diverse range of patients across multiple specialty areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the physiotherapy service to medical specialties, working collaboratively with clinical teams to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clinical teams, professional groups, and services across NHS Grampian.
  • Identify opportunities for service improvement and work collaboratively to ensure the delivery and embedding of change.
  • Line manage and performance manage a team of 4 staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Contribute to the out-of-hours respiratory rota, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Requirements:

  • Highly motivated and experienced physiotherapist with excellent clinical leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clinical teams and professional groups to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for service improvement and work collaboratively to ensure the delivery and embedding of change.
  • Line management and performance management experience, with the ability to guide and support staff to achieve excellent patient care.
