About the Role

To achieve our strategic goals, we require two experienced advisors to join our progressive Employability Service. We have two vacancies, one full-time permanent role and one full-time Maternity cover for up to 12 months. Both will be working with students and graduates to develop lifelong employability skills and secure graduate opportunities.

Main Responsibilities:

  2. Prepare engaging career-related materials.
  3. Deliver workshops and lectures both within and outside the curriculum.
  4. Organize employer events.
  5. Offer research-based labor market information to academic staff and students.

You will work with a range of stakeholders, including employers, alumni, and faculty colleagues, to increase the number of students securing work placements and graduate opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

With a degree or equivalent relevant professional qualification, ideally related to careers or coaching, you will have excellent interpersonal and technical skills as well as a commitment to delivering student success. Excellent organizational and communication skills and experience of working with students, graduates, or a similar role are essential.

The successful applicant will be joining our friendly, dedicated team of professional staff committed to supporting our students to succeed in their studies and secure graduate jobs when they leave us.
