We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Psychologist with a strong interest in Positive Behaviour Support to join our Adult and Specialist Services team at CareTech Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to individuals utilizing the framework of PBS, ensuring a high-quality and person-centered approach.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement PBS plans, promoting positive outcomes and behavior change.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify individual needs and develop tailored support strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with individuals, families, and carers, ensuring effective communication and support.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation, guidelines, and best practices in PBS, applying this knowledge to inform practice.
Requirements:
- Qualifications in psychology are essential, with a strong focus on PBS.
- Experience in providing support utilizing the framework of PBS, with a proven track record of positive outcomes.
- Full driving license and ability to travel as required.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines, with a commitment to staying up-to-date with best practices.
