About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Healthcare Support Worker on Ashby ward, a specialized Rehabilitation unit for people with physical disabilities.

Main Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to patients, promoting their independence and well-being. You will work closely with the nursing team to deliver excellent care, communicate effectively with patients and their relatives, and contribute to a positive and supportive ward environment.

Requirements

  • English and Maths qualification at GCSE grades A*-C, or Functional Skills Level 2
  • Experience of working in a customer-focused environment
  • Ability to work effectively on an individual basis and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Good customer care skills and written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to engage in effective working relationships with patients, their relatives, and colleagues
