Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing focused care to patients, working closely with our theatre team to ensure smooth and efficient operations. You will be expected to maintain high standards of patient care, adhere to our trust's values and policies, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient care in accordance with our trust's policies and procedures
  • Assist the theatre team in preparing patients for surgery and post-operative care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
  • Participate in regular audits and quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication and teamwork
Requirements
  • GCSE grade E or above in literacy and numeracy
  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Care or equivalent qualification
  • Evidence of the Care Certificate or commitment to achieve on joining the trust
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and escalate concerns as necessary
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
