Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a registered staff member or dental nurse, undertaking defined responsibilities in the workplace setting. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, compassionate, and competent care is delivered to our patients and service users at all times.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Work under delegation and supervision of a registered staff member or dental nurse
  • Undertake defined responsibilities in the workplace setting
  • Ensure safe, compassionate, and competent care is delivered to patients and service users
  • Support the completion of the Care Certificate
  • Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Requirements:
  • English and Maths qualification at GCSE grades A*- E, or Functional Skills Level 1
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in a Health Related area or equivalent experience
  • Successful completion of the Care Certificate
  • Knowledge of Oral Maxillofacial & Orthodontics
  • ECDL qualification or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a demanding and busy environment
  • Understanding of the role of the Healthcare Support Worker
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Good customer care skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
