Receptionist - Part Time

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at Burnside Surgery. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage patient appointments, including scheduling and rescheduling as needed
- Process patient requests, including repeat prescriptions and medical records
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Provide administrative support to our healthcare professionals, including data entry and filing
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including the waiting room and consultation rooms
- Ensure confidentiality and maintain patient records in accordance with our practice policies and procedures
- GCSE level or equivalent
- Experience working with the general public
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
- Flexible and cooperative with a positive attitude
