About the Organization
Their initiative focuses on empowering low-income and vulnerable individuals to enhance their financial stability, alleviate debt, and improve their skills in areas such as cooking and energy efficiency.
They are currently seeking two Community Support Facilitators to join their team on a part-time basis, working 22.2 hours per week on a fixed-term contract.

Role Responsibilities
As a Community Support Facilitator, you will be responsible for implementing the organization's project aimed at improving mental health and wellbeing among low-income and vulnerable populations.
Your duties will include:
- Conducting face-to-face one-on-one sessions and group workshops at various community venues.
- Facilitating sessions designed to achieve positive outcomes, such as increased income, reduced financial stress, and enhanced skills in energy-efficient cooking and heating.
- Collaborating closely with local organizations, charities, and community services to ensure comprehensive support for the community.
- Maintaining an updated resource spreadsheet for service users.
Additional Responsibilities
- Keeping accurate and organized project records, including attendance and risk assessments.
- Conducting surveys with clients to assess the impact of the team's work.
- Participating in staff meetings and events as required by the Project Manager.
Candidate Profile
To be considered for the Community Support Facilitator role, you should possess:
- Experience in delivering positive outcomes for individuals.
- Experience in designing and conducting one-on-one sessions and group workshops.
- Experience in providing advice and support, as well as signposting to appropriate services.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders.
- An understanding of the impacts of fuel and food poverty on low-income and disadvantaged individuals.
- Knowledge of health and safety issues.
- A relevant qualification and experience in health, social care, education, counseling, or a related field equivalent to at least NVQ level 3.
