As a Financial Operations Partner, you will serve as the main financial liaison for our onsite operational and commercial teams, ensuring robust financial governance at our facilities. Your role will be pivotal in supporting and challenging these teams to enhance their financial outcomes while delivering insightful analysis to facilitate informed decision-making. This position encompasses site-level accountability for management reporting and the pursuit of process optimizations wherever feasible.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary financial advisor and contact for site leadership, fostering a collaborative partnership while delivering essential metrics and analyses.
- Offer financial insights and recommendations on new projects, investments, and initiatives.
- Enhance financial literacy across all levels of the organization, emphasizing the importance of cost and revenue considerations in business decisions.
- Oversee the month-end closing process and conduct thorough variance analyses, providing detailed insights to all relevant stakeholders.
- Present monthly financial results to senior management, including operational teams, to ensure clarity on profitability.
- Prepare the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and a five-year strategic plan for the business unit, complete with key performance indicators, and effectively communicate this to senior management.
- Supervise balance sheet reconciliations to guarantee adherence to financial controls.
- Identify and implement process enhancements and efficiencies in daily operations.
- Support year-end audit processes by providing comprehensive explanations to auditors as required.
- Manage a Financial Analyst to ensure effective team performance.

Essential Qualifications
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA or CIMA).
- Proven experience in supporting and influencing operational teams.
- Proficient in financial systems, including advanced Excel and familiarity with Power BI.
- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret financial data, recognize trends, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Experience in management accounting within a manufacturing context is advantageous.
