At Biffa, we're looking for a skilled Financial Operations Partner to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you'll be responsible for providing financial support and guidance to our on-site operations and commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with site management and commercial teams to ensure effective financial support and guidance.
- Provide financial expertise and analysis to inform business decisions and drive process efficiencies.
- Own the month-end process, including detailed variance analysis and presentation of results to senior personnel.
- Prepare the full-year budget, quarterly reforecasts, and 5-year plan for the business unit, including accompanying KPIs.
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations to ensure controls are in place and being adhered to.
- Identify and drive process improvements and efficiencies in the day-to-day role.
- Provide end-of-year audit support and manage a Financial Analyst.
We're looking for a qualified accountant with experience supporting and influencing operational colleagues. Strong system skills, including advanced Excel and Power BI, are essential. Management Accounts experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
