Job Summary

The role of Estimator - Minor Works Projects involves conducting site visits to assess and estimate costs for minor works and facilities projects. This position requires strong project management skills to ensure successful delivery of estimating and quantity surveying functions within the facilities department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating minor works projects, including quantity surveying and cost analysis
  • Actively seeking new clients and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Working as part of the team to exceed monthly targets and meet tight deadlines
  • Maintaining a high standard of communication and interpersonal skills within the team
  • Participating in company initiatives and adhering to ISO and 45001 standards
Essential Criteria
  • 5 GCSEs at C grade or above (including English and Maths)
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable Criteria
  • Previous experience in a similar role or 3rd level qualification in a construction-related field
  • Experience with the Conquest estimating package
