About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dispute Resolution Senior Solicitor/Associate to join our team at Wilkin Chapman LLP. As a key member of our Dispute Resolution department, you will play a crucial role in providing expert legal advice and representation to our clients in complex financial management cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with our PI, Medical Negligence, and Regulatory Departments to identify new business opportunities and collaborate on contentious matters.
  • Undertake advocacy on behalf of our clients with the Court of Protection and work closely with our Dispute Resolution team on contentious cases.
  • Support the Head of Department/Partners in delivering internal Court of Protection training and developing relationships with specialist costs draftsmen for Deputy appointments and Court matters.
  • Consider training and appointment as a Court of Protection representative.
  • Deal with routine and complex enquiries from clients and ensure that any complaints are handled professionally and promptly.
  • Achieve financial targets agreed with the Department Head or Branch Partner.
  • Ensure compliance with Law Society Training Regulations.
  • Participate in business development and networking activities, taking a proactive approach to building and maintaining relationships with clients and key referrers of work.
