Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Control & Protection Software Design Engineer to join our team at Hitachi Energy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, maintaining, testing, integrating, verifying, and deploying HVDC control & protection application functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop HVDC control systems, ensuring high reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems with other HVDC components.
  • Test and verify control systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Document processes and conduct customer training.
  • Travel internationally for assignments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical area.
  • Experience with HVDC projects and control system design/testing.
  • Strong interest in industrial application development and programming.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience in digital technology, signal processing, control system design, and power system industry.
