Position Overview

As a key member of our finance team, reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll.

Your responsibilities will include managing payroll calculations, addressing employee absences, and overseeing pension submissions. This position is ideal for individuals with meticulous attention to detail and prior experience in payroll administration, seeking to advance their careers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately process monthly payrolls, including calculations for starters, leavers, commissions, bonuses, and overtime
  • Calculate employee absences, including SSP, SMP, SAP, and other relevant payments
  • Ensure timely completion of RTI and pension submissions
  • Prepare and submit P11Ds and other payroll-related returns to HMRC
Candidate Profile:
  • Previous experience in payroll administration is preferred; experience in HR or finance is also valuable
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in task execution
  • Familiarity with Midland HR iTrent Payroll System is advantageous
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  • Proficient IT skills, including knowledge of Windows applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
