Role Overview

We are expanding our Business Operational Support team and are in search of a skilled Actuarial Analyst to join our ranks.

In this role, you will engage in complex manual calculations and address policy inquiries, while also aiding in mainframe migrations and modifications.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intricate manual calculations to resolve business inquiries.
  • Address complex policy inquiries across various business domains.
  • Update and validate system modifications, including bonus updates and premium rate changes.
  • Analyze and utilize spreadsheets to tackle non-standard queries.
  • Assist in mainframe migrations and modifications by detailing calculations for new systems.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing the Associate of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries qualification.
  • Experience in supporting customer-facing roles within an Actuarial Team.
  • Background in life insurance or outsourcing sectors.
  • Knowledge of life assurance and pension product types and associated charges.
  • Capability to specify and validate life and pensions calculations proficiently.
