Senior Actuarial Analyst

At Diligenta, we're committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients. As a Senior Actuarial Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting our customer-facing teams with complex manual calculations and policy queries.

We're looking for an experienced Actuarial Analyst to join our team, supporting the migration of mainframe systems and changes. If you're passionate about actuarial work and have a strong background in life insurance and pensions, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Completing complex manual calculations to support business enquiries.
• Providing responses to complex policy enquiries to support other business areas.
• Updating and testing regular changes to systems, including bonus updates, policy fee updates, and premium rate changes.
• Using and interrogating complex spreadsheets to enable complex non-standard queries to be answered.
• Supporting mainframe migrations and changes, specifying calculations to be migrated to new systems.

What We're Looking For

• Working towards the Associate of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
• Experience working in an Actuarial Team supporting customer-facing functions.
• Experience supporting a migration programme.
• In-depth knowledge of life assurance and pension product types and charges.
• Adept at specifying and testing life and pensions calculations.
