We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Geriatric Medicine Specialist to join our team at Forth Valley Royal Hospital. As a key member of our Ageing and Health Department, you will have the opportunity to work with our consultant and specialty doctor team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in acute frailty, hospital at home, orthogeriatric care, delirium, movement disorders, stroke, and palliative care.
- Develop and implement quality improvement projects to enhance patient outcomes and experience.
- Participate in department governance and service review meetings to drive service development.
- Contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and education.
Requirements:
- Completion of Internal Medicine Stage 1 capabilities.
- Full MRCP(UK) diploma.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
