The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all engineering activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the engineering team
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor engineering staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively
  • Establish clear goals and objectives for the engineering team and ensure they are aligned with the company's overall strategy
  • Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and facilities to ensure they are safe, efficient, and compliant with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to support manufacturing operations and process improvements
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to pharmaceutical manufacturing and ensure all engineering activities comply with these requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to pharmaceutical manufacturing
