Job Description:

Procurement Manager (Real Estate)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team at Family Office Recruit London. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the procurement function, identifying areas for continuous improvement, and managing risk within the procurement lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and optimize procurement processes to enhance business efficiency and reduce overall project costs
  • Lead complex procurement exercises, including developing tender documentation, evaluation strategies, supplier assessment, and negotiation of contracts
  • Lead the procurement function, identifying areas for continuous improvement and managing risk within the procurement lifecycle
  • Develop a value for money and agile procurement strategy for a commercial organization
  • Negotiate and draft commercial contracts
  • Conduct in-depth spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements
  • Analyze supplier performance and spending data, with the ability to present the key findings in a clear and impactful manner

Requirements:

  • Significant proven experience in a similar position
  • Previous roles do not have to have been in a family office environment, but do need to have been highly commercial and within the construction/real estate industry in London
  • Strong results-oriented approach
  • Ability to effectively communicate with external suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Membership of a related body or relevant qualification, such as Chartered Institute of Purchase and Supply, would be considered advantageous
