**Job Summary**
Arqiva is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Customer Operations Engineer. As a key member of our operational team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to internal and external customers to improve service performance and protect network availability.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Use monitoring and control systems to control, configure and operate equipment, systems, networks and platforms, directly and remotely.
- Provide network monitoring and event management through the Operation Support Systems (OSS) in line with Service Level Agreements and network availability figures.
- Drive the resolution of service affecting events, creating incidents, applying technical and engineering knowledge and escalating to appropriate resolver groups where necessary.
- Control, configuration and operation of equipment directly and remotely using monitoring and control systems.
- Monitoring of services carried by Arqiva.
- Occasional Maintenance and project work.
**Requirements**
- Must be familiar with broadcast system standards and waveform measurements.
- Experience of automated monitoring solutions (SMTP, Closed Contact, Applications and principles).
- Good telephone manner essential.
