Job Summary:

Liz Orpwood Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing key accounts and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Manage and develop key accounts to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Technical Sales Support: Provide technical sales support to clients and distributors, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Product Development: Work closely with our engineering team to ensure that products are developed to meet customer requirements.
  • Customer Visits: Visit end-users to ensure correct initial product specification and track projects through to installation.

Requirements:

  • Engineering Background: Possess an engineering background and a proven track record in account management.
  • Commercial Acumen: Combine an analytical approach with strong commercial acumen to drive business growth.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships at all levels.
  • Regulated Sectors: Experience of working with highly regulated sectors such as automotive, specialist vehicles, specialist mechanical equipment, oil/gas, aerospace, defence, or similar would be advantageous.
